Why a Blog?
While the Chrome extension and website checker analyze URLs, there is a lot more to safer browsing than one automated verdict. We use this space to:
- Deep dive into common phishing tactics.
- Publish a practical link-safety checklist.
- Explain how our security signals and verdict rules work.
- Share aggregate research without publishing raw user URLs or identifiers.
What's Next?
We are continually improving the backend and its measurement. Our first Link Safety Report explains what 3.6 million successful analysis requests can show, where the current schema is insufficient, and why an IP address must not be treated as a person.
Start with the phishing link checker, then read the returned reasons and verify sensitive requests through an independent route. A Safe result is a risk signal, not a guarantee.
